Complex Problems Require Breakthrough Solutions.

Several ventures are engaged in rolling out clinical trials using synthetic psychedelic medicines. However, the majority of these trials are being conducted with in the mental health space.

Psychedelic compounds are produced in many plants and fungi as part of an extensively evolved and differentiated tryptophan metabolome found through nature.

It is for these reasons that certain signally pathways in animals can be modulated by natural extracts containing tryptaminergic compounds.

Whilst there is still a lot to be discovered relating to the exact mechanisms of such signalling, studies indicate a host of benefits for vascular, endocrine and immune system health as well as in ageing and inflammatory conditions.

Unlike most indications being pursued using psychedelic scaffolds the headache space does not benefit from the changes in consciousness and hallucinations like mental health indications do. 

This has driven us to development non-psychedelic medications that can safely target known psychedelic receptors.

Our research and development will be concentrated around setting the standard for all aspects of natural production and extraction of psilocybin and other plant derived tryptamines in order to provision clinical staged trials.

We are collaborating with several Universities and Institutions to further the use of the tryptamines in targeted research on neurological disorders. The continued elucidation of receptor signalling pathways in the human serotonergic and dopaminergic systems will provide insight into how to dose and use the tryptamines as natural modulators of these systems in a range of indications. This understanding is critical to developing drugs to meaningfully transform patients lives who are afflicted by either serious neurological disorders or rare diseases.

Odyssey Neuroscience  will continue to innovate, develop and patent its own technologies that integrate psychedelic compounds and enhance the therapy potential, and is committed to equipping medical professionals with the resources & technology to improve patient experience and patient outcomes.
